How much does a small business website cost? (2026)
Short answer: it depends on who builds it. A web design agency typically charges $3,000 to $5,000 or more for a small business site. We do it as a flat one-time $995, done for you, with your own domain and first year of hosting included. Here is what actually goes into the price, and what to watch for.
What agencies charge, and why
A typical web design agency builds a small business site for $3,000 to $5,000, sometimes more. You are paying for their design time, project management, and overhead, usually across a timeline of weeks or months. The result is often good, but the price and the wait put it out of reach for a lot of local businesses that just need a real, findable site.
The costs people forget
The build fee is not the whole story. A website also needs a domain name, hosting, security, and edits when your hours or prices change. Some providers fold those into a monthly bill that never ends, so a site that looked cheap up front costs far more over a few years. The question to ask any provider is what the site costs to keep, not just to launch.
Our flat, one-time price
We build a full multi-page site on your own domain for a one-time $995 (Essentials), or $995 for Complete website, which adds a photo gallery, a quote or appointment request form, and a menu page for restaurants. Your domain and your first year of hosting are included, and there is no monthly bill for the site itself. After the first year it is $199 a year to keep it live, or $19 a month if you also want unlimited edits handled for you. You own your domain and can take it with you at any time for free.
See your site and your price, free
The clearest way to know what it costs is to see your own site first. We build you a free preview from your public information, before you pay anything. You see exactly what you would get and what it costs, then decide, and you only go live if you love it.
